Highlights of our Private Swiss Alps Food Tour

Swiss Alps Food Tour description

Embark on a journey of culinary discovery through the breathtaking Swiss Alps with our deluxe tour. Your adventure begins with a personal pick-up from the bustling city of Zurich and a leisurely drive through the picturesque countryside.

As we make our way to the heart of the mountains, we will make a stop at a traditional cheese factory where you will have the opportunity to learn about the art of cheese making and sample a variety of delicious local cheeses. We will also purchase some Raclette Cheese to savor later on our tour.

Then we stop by the largest monastery in Switzerland, where you will get a glimpse into the rich history and culture of the region. Afterwards, we are heading to one of the best bakeries in the area to indulge in some delicious local specialties, such as the famous almond & apricot croissants.

As we continue our journey, we will take in the stunning scenery of green meadows, majestic mountains and, in the spring, summer and fall, we are going to see farm animals grazing in the fields. Then we are doing a stop at a local high quality butcher to purchase some of the finest BBQ meats made from locally sourced animals.

We will then drive into the taller mountains for an unforgettable BBQ experience. After satisfying our hunger, we visit charming and traditional mountain villages before heading to one of the best chocolate producers in Switzerland. Here, you will have the chance to taste and purchase some of the best chocolates in the world, and even make your own chocolate if you desire.

This tour is a true feast for the senses, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to indulge in the delicious flavors and stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps. The route may be slightly different depending on the season.
