2 Days Western Switzerland Private Tour Itinerary:

Day 1:

  • Start the day with a personal pick-up by your Myswisspanorama Private Tour Guide in front of your hotel. Heading to the western part of Switzerland we will visit first the beautiful medieval town of Gruyeres, home to the iconic Gruyeres Castle and a variety of charming shops and restaurants. We will try the local specialty, Gruyere cheese!
  • Next, we are heading to the Eppesses wine region, known for its high-quality white wines. Please book early that we can take a tour of a local wine cave and sample some of the finest vintages the region has to offer (in case the wine tour is booked out, we have to skip it). For lunch we do a traditional Swiss Picnic Experience.
  • In the afternoon, we visit the stunning Chillon Castle, located on the shores of Lake Geneva. There we visit the castle and learn about its rich history, or simply admire the breathtaking views from the castle walls.
  • In the evening, enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere of the riviera of Montreux. Stroll along the lakeside promenade and take in the stunning views of the Swiss Alps
  • Night in Montreux

Day 2:

  • Start the day with a drive to the Grand Canyon of Switzerland, the Creux du Vans. Take in the breathtaking views of this natural wonder and, with a bit of luck, spot some wild ibexes. We will do a leisurely walk along the canyon’s dramatic cliffs.
  • Head to the Gorges Areuse, one of the most scenic gorges in Switzerland where we enjoy a nice Swiss Raclette Lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we visit the charming and little-known Middle Age Town of Le Landeron. Explore the town’s narrow streets and discover its hidden treasures, such as picturesque churches and charming local shops.
  • Finish the day with a visit to the picturesque town of Ligerz, located along the shores of Lake Biel. Take in the stunning views of the lake and the surrounding countryside. In Spring around March & April there is the chance to visit the wild fields of Daffodils

Throughout the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in the region’s finest culinary delights and sample some of the best wines in Switzerland.
