Experience the natural beauty and charme of the Bernese Alps, including visits to picturesque mountain villages like Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Gimmelwald, the valley of 72 Waterfalls and cook a traditional Swiss Raclette lunch, with options to visit additional charming villages & sparkling lakes along the way.
In the morning you get warmly picked-up by your guide in front of your hotel in Zurich or Lucerne.
Our first stop is Lake Lungern, located in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Lake Lungern is a stunning natural wonder with crystal clear waters and breathtaking mountain views. We will visit a few of the best viewpoints around the lake, giving you the chance to take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Then we are heading to Lauterbrunnen. This charming mountain village is known for its picturesque setting and abundant natural beauty. We will take a leisurely walk through the village, exploring the local shops and restaurants, and taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
From Lautebrunnen we drive through the valley of 72 waterfalls. As the name suggests, that stunning valley is home to an impressive array of waterfalls, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers. We will take a cable car up to Mürren, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape along the way.
This charming mountain village is located at an altitude of 1650 meters, offering panoramic views of the Swiss Alps to the world famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. In Mürren, you may choose to take a 45-minute walk to Gimmelwald, another stunning mountain village known for its authentic charm and natural beauty.
For Lunch we do a traditional Swiss Raclette that consists of melted cheese served with boiled potatoes and a variety of pickled vegetables. We will enjoy a delicious raclette lunch, savoring the flavors of this beloved Swiss dish.
On the way back, you may choose to visit either Grindelwald, Interlaken or Iseltwald with plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation. Grindelwald is known for its beautiful setting in the Bernese Oberland region, while Iseltwald is a small village located on the shores of Lake Brienz, known for its stunning views and peaceful atmosphere. Moreover Interlaken is the most famous place to stay.
