A meadow full of crocuses combined with a unique view of the Brienzer Rothorn as well as the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and the Entlebuch make this meadow a dream location.

Every year
Every spring, when the snow has melted, the heads of the white and purple crocus flowers emerge from the ground.
What a beautiful blaze of colour!
Combined with the white mountain peaks of the Brienzer Rothorn and the well-known Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, there is not only one perfect photo subject. No, it is also the ideal place to switch off, recharge your batteries and simply relax and enjoy nature.
The only downer is perhaps that there are a larger number of people to be found at the weekend. Far from overcrowded, but you are not alone.
The reason is that you can drive there almost directly.
The most important things in brief
The blooming starts as soon as the snow is gone. This is usually the case from the second week of April.
Food: Restaurant Erika (about 15 minutes from the meadow)
How to get there: By public transport to Traubschachen, from there hike in the direction of Rämisgummen (2 hours). Or drive directly to the Rämisgummen.
